PARENTS: Please note that in today's video, we describe the link between Santa Claus and St. Nicholas. Please review the video for yourself before you show it to your children to determine whether it fits with your family’s approach to Santa.
St. Nicholas is the patron saint of children so, on the night before his feast day, the Holy Heroes children put out their shoes by the fireplace, and overnight St. Nicholas will leave them some small toys, candy, or money!
We don’t do anything too fancy for our St. Nicholas gifts—something small enough to fit in a little child’s shoe like chocolate kisses, hair ribbons, or a little bag of coins is more than enough.
Here are three quick things about today’s page:
1. Today there are 2 Advent Adventure videos—the first is about St. Nicholas and the second includes the history of the Rosary, what sacrifice beads are, and the Angelus (audio only).
2. Today’s Jesse Tree video is about Moses.
3. Today’s resources include activities and additional prayers.
Now, let's go to today's Advent Adventure activities!
